Here is the detailed description of the new sofa Adelaide.
• The cushions of the back are filled with feather-fill, a material with a bases of goose-feather and synthetic fibre, soft and comfortable, able to wrap the shoulders and to support the back through the insert cushion.
• Trays armrest covers are available in wood or chrome.
• The legs customized, chrome steel or wood, like the trays armrest covers.
The color of the wood can be achieved in a sample.
• The structure of the back is covered and filled like a real quilted headboard
• The bed is equipped with a special covering that protects the mechanisms.
The cloth covers the base by isolating it from the mattress

New models of House Linen.

The collection of House linen is enriched with new models of tablecloths such as the runner, the table mats and the table covers.
The items are produced in pure white linen, raw and cream, finished with handmade drawn-work by the Women of the labs supported by the Foundation Rozafa which is active in Albany for the development of the micro-entrepreneurship for women.

The runner is a strip of fabric that allows to lay the table for two persons, sitting facing each other, replicable by the number of the guests.
The runner let glimpse the table top that is quality wood or crystal light and bright.

The runner may be used on a tablecloth that is color coordinated, with a background design in nuance, or in sharp contrast, to create each time a production that is always different and suggestive. They measure cm 120 x 40, complete with two towels measuring 35 x 35 cm.

In addition to the runner for the table, we introduce the scarf to dress the table on which to achieve the compositions of still life with flowers, fruit or with our favourite objects, according to the season, recurrences or creativity.
The cover-table scarf measures cm 180 x 50.

The table mats are a lovely solution to set up the breakfast table but also for lunch and dinner important.
It is used as an elegant plate, directly on the table or to enrich the laying that wants the use of a particularly precious table cloth.
More simply, is perfect for the table of those single that want to be surrounded by elegance in any moment lived at home. The table mats measures cm 42 x 30 complete with a towel 35 x 35 cm.

Sectional sofa and bed sofa: Jack III was bor

Jack III is a bed sofa that comes from Jack, our most successful sectional sofa. A very dynamic sectional sofa, with features of multiple moving of the sitting and with different positions of the back.
The sofa bed version, while maintaining the same features, uses an additional option.
The sitting contains slats that come out by scrolling forward cushions that fold flap, to create a plan occasional single bed.

It is the perfect solution for the sleeping zone of teens and children, thanks to the patented safety systems that it has.
The sophisticated and revolutionary mechanism, patented internationally, permits to get two bunk beds, through a combined practical opening that acts simultaneously on the overturning of the upper bed and slips on the bed below. The handle release enables easy opening, combined for two beds.

The retractable ladder is incorporated and its handling allows the side wall of security to rise automatically.

It has been realized after a careful study of the particular exigencies that emerge from the composition of furniture of living spaces that are small in dimensions but that are modern, dynamic, casual, above all lived by lovers of comfort and home relax.

Philadelphia is a very comfortable sofa characterized by soft back cushions filled with goose feather and by the sitting dimensions, deep and enveloping.
Perfect for the use as a very comfortable sofa. The wide arms contribute to create the “all soft” effect.

The structure of Philadelphia, characterized by a modern and essential line, has been studied around the electro-welded base, with a 5-year warranty. The mattress has a high thick, 14 centimetres, that is available in the following versions: anatomic, in removable foam, or in orthopaedic springs.

Filippo Berto, Berto Salotti, wins the ADICO “Marketer of the Year 2009” award
Monday 23rd November, during the ADICO FORUM event, the winner of the award was selected through Internet voting. This recognition was established in 1998 to reward the manager who was the protagonist of the “business idea”, thanks to which the company was able to grow on the market in terms of revenues, profit and visibility.

The Award Jury, presided over by Michele Cimino, President of ADICO, The Italian Association of Trade Directors and Marketing Managers, selected the ten best companies (five coming from the world of large enterprises and five coming from the world of SMEs (Small and Medium Enterprises)), which distinguished themselves through their successes due to marketing ideas.

During the event, Filippo Berto stated: “This is a very important award and I’m proud not only to have come up with the best business idea of 2009, but especially because through this project I was able to appreciate and reward the hard work made of sacrifices and effort on the part of my family and of our collaborators, in maintaining our traditional and artisan custom production standards high."

We are proud to have brought an artisan enterprise of the Brianza district to the capital.
- To bring our history and, at the same time, the history of a part of the productive Brianza district to Rome.

This was our intention, three years ago, when we decided to present our collection of upholstered furniture and our high quality custom upholstery service in a small space in the centre of Rome.
Afterwards, the experience of a two year collaboration with a Roman company that distributes fabric and curtains strengthened our conviction that the quality of our finely crafted production, carried out in our Meda laboratory, and our diversity, characterised by flexibility and custom solutions for every customer, could help many people identify our brand as an exclusive selection, even beyond the boundaries of Brianza. Today we have finally attained our objective of being present in Roma in a Berto Salotti
space, set up according to our concept of welcome, capable of offering our customers a complete showcase of our products and of all of our services.

Important geometric shapes make up the volume of Friendly, the sofa that lets you relax completely thanks to the option of moving the seat forward and reclining the back.

BERTO SALOTTI present their high quality Household Linen collection, which contains a special value of beauty among the threads of the linen fabric and in every handmade point.

Berto Salotti have decided to place a harmonious and complementary Household Linen collection side by side with the extensive furnishing offer, included in the same line of top quality craftsmanship that distinguishes their production.

The search for handmade Excellent Linen led the company to become acquainted with the charmingly named “Il Filo dei Pensieri” (“Threads of Thought”), collection, by the Fondacioni Rozafa foundation, active in Albania.
This important encounter led to collaboration for the supply of high quality textile products, distributed under the BERTO SALOTTI brand name.

The collection includes an extensive range of linens made of European Linen, guaranteed by the Centro Tutela Lino (Linen Protection Board). All manufactured items are certified.

Berto Salotti’s vocation for solidarity, understood as active support of humanitarian gestures, led the company to adhere to this project in support of and for the development of women’s micro-entrepreneurship in Albania.

Dinameeting: Berto obtain recognition

Thursday 19th March, a meeting concerning the Dinameeting Project was held at the “Giorgio Gaber” auditorium in the Lombardy Region with the Councillor for Artisans and Services, Domenico Zambetti, and the authorities of the Cestec and Politecnico of Milan, amongst the champion companies, the consultants and the selected companies.

Berto Salotti received the prestigious “champion” company award together with 9 other Lombard companies, and will work together with a network of consultants to spread the best practices acquired over the years on the web 2.0.
During the presentation, the champion companies were allotted time to present the project that obtained the candidature. Filippo Berto, the Berto Salotti marketing and communication manager then stated: “we are working on a table built with a very solid frame; we hold good cards and we want to play by facing this new economic course with the desire to win again”.
The Dinameeting project promoted and put into effect by Cestec SpA (Centre for Technological Development, Energy and Competitiveness of small to medium businesses in Lombardy) is financed by the Lombardy Region and is aimed at small and medium businesses that wish to consolidate their competitiveness through the transformation and modernisation of their production, distribution and management processes.

Art: Nella’s Roses

Nella Parravicini paints in her country house in which bright and sunny colours dominate. For example, chrome yellow, used for the large chimney hood, located in the middle of the living room, and for the aerial staircase leading to the small, charming rooms on the upper floor.
Yellow once again for the large kitchen table, together with the reds, greens and blues of the enamels in the handcrafted tiles that cover the area of the burners, which are used often to produce tasty and colourful dishes. The windows look out towards the large meadow, with the wood as backdrop. The veranda has a glass roof, built to be able to see the blue of the sky and the shadowy silver of the rain and the fireflies on June evenings, closer than the stars.
Pansy, narcissus and geranium blooms alternate on the windowsills.
Flowers inside and outside each room. Her paintings on the walls. Roses with gigantic corollas in which to lose one’s self like dew drops, becoming tinged with red and orange.
Petals light as tissue-paper or full as sensual lips or even curled like a young girl's ringlets.

And the clothes of her female figures are made out of light petals. Transparent voiles envelop ethereal Dancing-Women-Fairies. Bare feet, hair sometimes green. Her painting is the poetry of life.
Her subjects are born as she listens to music, drinking a cup of coffee under the pomegranate tree in the summer, on the fifth step of the aerial staircase in the winter. Apple fritters prepared in a second for her children and grandchildren and the numerous friends, met during her many travels, who come visit her from all over the world.
Original Painter and Woman - fascinating, radiant, smiling, attentive, steadfast friend is Nella.

Initiatives: Solidarity is transformed

NOT ONLY AN ARTISAN’S SOUL BUT A STRONG VOCATION for solidarity, understood as active support for humanitarian projects.

In order to apply his meaning of solidarity in the way most congenial and concrete to him, Filippo Berto – the brilliant mind behind the company - conceived the idea of adding a specific section, entitled "Initiatives", to the BERTO SALOTTI website.

This section concerns the marketing of textile items produced in Albania by several groups of women joined in laboratories – Il Filo dei Pensieri (“Thread of Thoughts”) – financially backed and conducted by the Rozafa Foundation, with headquarters in Tirana.
The purpose of this project is the promotion of women’s micro-entrepreneurship; through their work, women can regain personal dignity, the certainty of being useful, the honest gain deriving from a real production activity.

The offered items are excellently handcrafted on Italian fabric: SHEETS,
TABLECLOTHS, EMBROIDERED PILLOWS, or, as concerns ethnic fabric, the products are manufactured with Italian yarns on small and very old hand looms. (RUNNERS, PLACEMATS, PILLOWS). All items are certified.
They are supported by precise descriptions and packaged in elegant boxes under the complete responsibility of Berto Salotti and their creative staff.

Thus the purchase of each of these items sets the “fair trade machine” in motion, which takes the proceeds of the sales from Berto Salotti directly and exclusively to the women that work in these laboratories, through the Rozafa Foundation.
