Berto Salotti was established in Meda in 1974. Brothers Carlo and Fioravante were its promoters.
Artisan quality and top, made-to-order comfort are the elements that have always distinguished our production.
We manufacture leather sofas for well-known companies at a time when the national economy and the demand for high quality have reached an historical high.
We perfect our production techniques and specialise in prototyping, working together with architects and designers.

We have our own collection of upholstered furniture, aimed at the general public.

In the year 2000, Berto Salotti began experimenting with a new form of communication through the Internet that is more precise and customer-oriented.

The second generation begins the new exploratory era. Filippo Berto uses the countless possibilities of web communication to the maximum.
Berto Salotti set up the first officially recognised Italian blog in the sector, then the first online video channel on YouTube and the eBay showcase. In short, the company has attained overwhelming visibility.

In 2004, Berto Salotti inaugurated the new modern and well-equipped showroom in Meda, set up for service and direct sales to the public.

During the subsequent years the company has presented itself at exclusive showrooms in Parma and Rome.

In 2005, they began e-commerce through the site; Berto Salotti, an enterprise rooted in the artisan tradition, capable of creating impeccable items and of distributing them in the most effective way with 2.0 communication, is the company that best expresses the affirmation of "Artisan's Soul and Entrepreneurial Spirit". Two-way communication, made up of listening and sharing with one’s interlocutor and customer, of innovation and daily growth.
The company’s operational strategy pays attention to changes, to the product’s advantage, offered at an always accessible price, and to improvement of the service for their interlocutors.

Over time, sofas and sofa beds, upholstered beds, curtains and textile accessories have been added to the models. Production marked by that special spirit that allows us to offer the difference. The traditional manufacturing techniques allow us to produce made to order, custom designed sofas according to the personal requirements of the individual customer.
